Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your name and email address. As you use Grocerr AI we store the content you create — pantry items, grocery lists, saved recipes, meal plans, and dietary preferences — so your data is there every time you open the app.
When you scan a dish, fridge, receipt, or barcode, the image is sent securely to our AI service to identify the food and generate results. Images are processed to provide the feature and are not used to identify you.
How we use your information
- To provide and personalize the app's features for you.
- To generate recipes, grocery lists, and meal plans from your input.
- To manage your account and, if you subscribe, your Plus membership.
- To improve reliability and fix problems.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work — such as our cloud hosting and the AI provider that powers scanning — and only to the extent needed to deliver the feature. Payments are handled entirely by the App Store and Google Play; we never see your card details.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, dietary preferences, and saved content anytime in the app. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app, or by visiting our account deletion page.
Data security
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on secured servers. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
Grocerr AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
