Grocerr AI started with an ordinary problem: a fridge with food in it and no idea what to cook. Most recipe apps answer the wrong question. They ask what you feel like eating, then send you shopping. We wanted the opposite — start from what is already in the kitchen, and work outwards.
So the app begins with a photograph. Point the camera at a shelf, a dish, a receipt or a barcode, and it works out what is there, what it can become, and what is about to go off. Everything else — the grocery lists, the meal plans, the price comparisons — grows out of that one idea.
Why it matters
Roughly a third of the food produced in the world is never eaten. In a home, that waste is rarely a decision; it is a spinach bag at the back of a shelf that nobody remembered. An app that quietly keeps track, and speaks up two days before something turns, fixes more of that than any amount of good intention.
Who makes it
Grocerr AI is built and published by Aerosoul Technologies LLP, founded by Abhishek Sivaraman, who is also the founder of Zafit AI.
Aerosoul Technologies LLP builds consumer software that does something specific and does it properly. Grocerr AI is the kitchen. Zafit AI is health and fitness. Both start from the same belief: that software should do the tedious part so a person can get on with the rest.
How we build
A small team, shipping often, reading every piece of feedback that comes through the app. If something is broken we would rather hear it early and fix it quickly than find out from a review. The address is grocerrai@gmail.com and it reaches us directly.
What we will not do
We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising inside the app. Grocerr AI is free to use, and Grocerr AI Plus pays for the AI that runs behind it. That is the whole business model. Our privacy policy says the same thing at greater length.
